摘要:

Two occurrences of lawsonite-bearing veins in Torlesse greywacke and metabasite from the coastal area of Wellington Peninsula are described. Lawsonite is previously undescribed from the Torlesse terrane. Its presence indicates higher pressure conditions of metamorphism, corresponding to the lawsonite-albite-chlorite facies, than is generally observed in Torlesse rocks.
