摘要:

The far-infrared and Raman spectra of the tribromomercurate (II) anion as salt of tetrapropylammonium have been obtained and interpreted in terms of a halogen-bridged structure. The total coincidence of the ir and Raman bands rules out a D2hor C symmetries for the anionic species but a C2vor C1symmetries are likely to occur.
