SummaryThe autors describe the case of a 40 year old obese diabetic women with severe metabolic acidosis, attributed to an ethylic keto acidosis; the pa tient had simultaneously hyperlipidemia, hyponatremia, hypophosphataemia and a hemolytic anae mia.The relationship between these various disorders is discussed.Verplegingscentrum J.
