摘要:

The criticism of flow line methods has resulted in the consideration of alternative methods of production—one such method is the ‘ collective ’ method of working. In this research note the operating characteristics of unpaced flow line systems and collective systems are investigated by means of computer simulation and comparisons between the two systems are made.
