摘要:
Perl and Szakács assert that their work is the first to use persulfate oxidation to determine the nitrogen content of organic materials.1This is incorrect. A number of papers have appeared since 1969 which describe this method.2–12The novel feature of the work of Perl and Szakács1is the direct determination of nitrogen as ammonia rather than as nitrate with the necessary limitation that nitro compounds and the like would be missed.
