摘要:

Secondary outgrowths on detrital sphene occur in the Jotnian sandstones of the eastern Lake Mälaren basin. The mineral is suggested to have crystallized from hot pore solutions percolating during the intrusion of the Jotnian dolerites. The titanium is probably mostly derived from the leacking and alteration of detrital ferromagnesian minerals.
