AbstractIn this paper the theory, given in part I, is continued. In the region of temperatures and density, where the fundamental lengths of the plasma are ordered as\documentclass{article}\pagestyle{empty}\begin{document}$ \lambda _{ii}<{\textstyle{{e^2} \over {kT}}}<\lambda _{ee} $\end{document}and whereneλ ee2≪ 1, quantum corrections to the classical Debye‐Hückel free energy of an electron‐ion‐plasma are calculated explicitely. Hereneis the electron density; λeeand λiiare the thermal wavelengths of the electrons and ions, respectively. The above assumptions are valid for temperatures between 106and 108°K and electron densitiesne<1025cm−3. The effects of symmetry are taken into account.
