摘要:

This paper investigates the conditions whereby it is possible to give an objective value to viscosity measurements of a suspension of artificial rigid fibers. It is shown that, as long as the ratio between the length of the particles and the width of the field of flow is not larger than13,viscosity measurements carried out with capillary viscometer and with Couette viscometer are equivalent and linearly related with the axial ratio of the particles.
