The Michelson Museum, located in the Michelson Laboratory, U. S. Naval Ordnance Test Station, Inyokern, China Lake, California, contains Michelson's early research apparatus, original manuscripts and research notes, reprints of published research papers, photographs, the Michelson medals, and the parchment announcing the late Dr. A. A. Michelson as the recipient of the 1907 Nobel Award in Physics. This paper contains a brief description of the items on display, one of Michelson's favorite portraits, and photographs of the Michelson medal case and the Museum.
