SummaryThe authors have developped a cytochemical scoring system of betaglucuronidase in plasmacells. Their technique confirms the high betaglucuronidase content of malignant plasmacells, as stated by other investigators and gives a«quantitative»expression of the difference in (cytochemical) enzyme content between normal and malignant plasmacells.This method is helpfull in the diagnosis of myeloma.
