AbstractAt the Fourth Parliamentary and Scientific Conference of the Council of Europe, Florence, 12–14 November 1975, on ‘Science and the future of man European Society’, the Netherland Minister for Science Policy, Mr Fokele P H Trip, delivered a speech on ‘International Cooperation and Social Sciences in a Technological Europe’. Although Mr Trip intended to talk mainly about the second part of the theme, the upshot of his remarks was in fact an appeal for international cooperation.
