The following case is reported because it presents very closely every evidence of pyloric stenosis, and because I have been able to follow it for four years and note the progress of the patient; furthermore, in closely studying the literature for the past five years, I have noted a great many more cases of stenosis reported than pylorospasm and I have wondered if some of these cases were not in reality pylorospasm with inflammation of the pylorus and not hypertrophy.
