摘要:

Mediastinal cysts are not uncommon causes of a medistinal mass detected by chest roentgenogram. Even when infected, they are usually indolent. In our case, however, a man had an acute and life-threatening anaerobic infection of a mediastinal cyst, unsuspected until operation.
