Stability of enzyme reaction system with spatial localization

The effects of spatial localization of reaction on the stability of a crossingly controlled enzyme reaction system are explored. Throe typos of localizations are derived. The two cases of them are proved to be stable on account of some spatially averaging effects. The last case is a generalization of the models of Glass and Kauffman (1972) and Thames (1973), having the localized source terms driven by the distant signals. For this case instability criteria are obtained by the frequency domain analysis and an approximate limit cycle solution is given.
