ABSTRACTA detailed map of glacial terraces on Mt. Akka and Mt. Kisuris in Lappland, northern Sweden is presented. The Akka terraces consist of a diamicton, which is interpreted to have been deposited by ice and partially reworked by both fluvial and shoreline processes. The Kisuris terraces are composed of glaciofluvial material, which was probably deposited as a series of deltas in local ice-dammed lakes.
