摘要:
Summary:Triple arthrodesis of the calcaneocuboid, subtalar, and talonavicular joints is a well-established procedure in the treatment of complex disorders of the foot. Long-term follow-up studies have demonstrated that excellent results can be achieved, but the procedure requires careful preoperative planning, meticulous attention to detail, and technical precision. Complications of triple arthrodesis are primarily technique- dependent and include nonunion, malalignment, and degeneration of the adjacent, unfused articulations of the foot and ankle. This article presents our preferred technique for triple arthrodesis. It also identifies the causative factors leading to potential complications as well as measures to ensure their prevention
