Abstract“Research Corporation's Report for 1974 should be of interest to all those concerned with private support of research in colleges and universities. The first section of the report points out the financial attenuation suffered by Research Corporation, and its effect on our contributions in support of science. Other sections emphasize the need for support of basic research, and the role of Research Corporation in bringing the results of university research into public benefit by patenting and licensing.”
