After describing the technique of isolation we consider the different forms of human infection due toCampylobacter spp;those due toC. fetus intestinalisprincipally occuring in patients with an underlying pathology, and those due toC. jejunioccuring in healthy individuals.GeneralisedCampylobacter spp.infection due to C.jejuniis in reality a fairly rare complication ofC. jejunienteritis wich is of much more frequent occurence particularly in infants.
