SummaryAmyloidosis is a relatively rare complication of Crohn’s disease. This paper reviews29previously reported cases and describes three additional patients. All three presented a nephrotic syndrome and one of them died of renal failure. Observation on one of these patients showed a clinical remission of his nephrotic syndrome with the preservation of a normal renal function over a period of seven years, although in a second biopsy amyloidosis could still be demonstrated.
