摘要:

In briefA serious sports-related hip injury is rare, but potential consequences can be devastating. The athlete with hip pain may have a variety of clinical symptoms such as groin discomfort, knee pain, swelling, and ecchymosis. A six-step evaluation involving a brief history, visual inspection, palpation, neurovascular assessment, range of motion, and lab and radiographic data will assist in expedient diagnosis and treatment. Injuries can be graded as type 1, 2, or 3, with triage decisions based on injury type and varying from observation and rehabilitation to referral to a specialist.
