During the past year, refinements in the treatment of many lid tumors have been proposed, including amyloidosis, Kaposi's sarcoma, sebaceous carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. There have also been innovative reports on eyelid reconstruction using hard-palate mucosal grafts, medial canthal reconstruction, lateral skin-muscle advancement flaps, and eyelid avulsions.
