Two flint nodules have been investigated by palynological analysis. Both nodules were found in the province of Halland, south-western Sweden, viz. at Lilla Stensjö and Tönnersa. Terrestrial and marine plant microfossils indicate an upper Cretaceous age. It is suggested that the material from Lilla Stensjö is of Senonian age, whereas the nodule from Tönnersa is of Senonian or Danian age. The results presented are preliminary ones.
