摘要:

An efficient synthesis of 4-aryl substituted 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolines is described. Suzuki coupling of 4-bromoisoquinoline with arylboronic acids gives the 4-arylisoquinolines which can be reduced with NaBH3CN to the 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinolines.
