SUMMARY.1. Basic physical and morphometric data are presented for sixty‐five lochs on the Shetland Islands. The interrelations between loch dimensions are comparable to those recorded elsewhere in Scotland, but the smaller lochs on Shetland tend to be somewhat shallower, and the large lochs somewhat deeper than usual.2.
