SummaryTwo cases of bromide intoxication are reported. Both presented as psychiatric cases of mental confusion accompanied by marked EEG changes (delta waves). The mental, state of the two patients, as well as their EEG, returred to normal within 2 to 4 weeks after withdrawal of bromide. In one case, the bromide blood level was determined. Its evolution was followed along with the restauration of clear sensorium and normal EEG.
