A characterization of the F-algebra(introduced by Stoll in [16]) is obtained, which allows for a representation ofas a union of certain weightedH2spaces, analogous to the representation for the Smirnov class. The invertible elements ofplay a key role. This can be used to derive results for the classeswhich parallel those ofN+.
