Budesonide modified-release capsules (MRC) have been proven to be safe and effective for the treatment of mild-to-moderate active Crohn's disease involving the ileum and/or ascending colon. Moreover, the latest study suggests that budesonide MRC is also valuable as maintenance therapy.
