The Journal of Ambulatory Care Management presents the original publication of the proceedings of the Conference on Primary Care Delivery, Education and Research in Teaching Hospitals. This national conference was sponsored by Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center in New York and presented by the Department of Ambulatory Care Services, North Central Bronx Hospital (NCBH), September 28–30, 1977. The proceedings are being published in three parts. The first installment, “Delivery of Services,” appeared in JACM 2:1, February 1979. The installment appearing in this issue is divided into five sections describing various perspectives on primary care education. A sixth section includes a panel discussion of primary care and medical education; and the last section offers a summary of a workshop on teaching primary care. The third installment of the proceedings, to appear in JACM 2:3, August 1979, will deal with research.
