Two new species of the genusHelodesLatreille from Greece are described:H. amiculasp. n. (continent) andH. secundocreticasp. n. (Crete). Their genealogical relations within theHelodes minutagroup are discussed and in this connection the position ofH. sieberiKlausnitzer, 1973 is explained. Additional species ofHelodesare recorded from Greece, includingH. pseudominutaKlausnitzer, 1971, which is new.
