AbstractIn an investigation into altimetry errors, consideration was given to the nature and behaviour of the isobaric surface. From the evidence obtained there are indications that there is a relationship between the problems of heighting by vertical angles and altimetry, and that there is corroboration for this evidence by other experiments conducted to investigate the coefficient of refraction of air.
