AbstractDiffraction is considered of a plane monochromatic wave by a crystal lattice in the X‐ray fre quency region. A covariant solution of the boundary problem for the multiwave Bragg‐Laue diffraction in a plate‐like crystal is obtained on the basis of the Takagi diffraction equations written in the matrix
