摘要:

This article is an attempt to analyse and explain a well‐known card‐trick in terms of a simple mathematical model, suitable at high‐school level. It conveys some of the key aspects of modelling such as symbolization, generalization, descriptive or predictive capabilities, as well as experimental verification.
