An account of six post-harvest diseases of papaya caused byColletotrichum papayae, Ascochyta caricae, Botryodiplodia theobromae, Phytophthora parasitica, Rhizopus stolonifer, andTrichothecium roseumis given. Diseases incited byBotryodiplodia theobromaeandPhytopthora parasiticaare described from India for the first time.
