摘要:

The effect of initiator, monomer concentrations, temperature and reaction time on grafting of methyl methacrylate and saw dust were studied. Graft polymerization of methyl methacrylate on to saw dust was evidenced by means of IR spectroscopic technique. A comparative study of chemical and radiation–induced grafting methods are made. The chemical–initiated copolymerization treatment with water as the swelling agent can yield high grafting efficiency, whereas the radiation–induced copolymerization treatment gives very low grafting efficiency.
