SummaryThe effect of short-term treatment with chlorothiazide or chlothialidone on blood glucose and on glucose utilization has been studied in 21 healthy male, non obese patients. These drugs, given either orally or intravenously, have no«diabetogenic effect»under the conditions of this study.
