摘要:

Blockade of the renin-angiotensin system by the angiotensin analogue saralasin may have both diagnostic and therapeutic applications. Response to this investigational drug appears to provide a noninvasive means of identifying patients with renovascular and some other“angiotensinogenic”hypertensions. It is also seen as potentially useful in the management of hypertensive crises or states exacerbated by angiotensin excess.
