摘要:
In briefAs part of a comprehensive brief treatment plan, exercise can decrease pain and improve function in people who have rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. The physician must prescribe an individualized, realistic, and enjoyable exercise program that helps the affected joints and builds fitness. Well-tailored recommendations can also help maximize patient compliance. The physician must also provide appropriate follow-up care, adjusting the exercise program and medications as needed.
