Like many other schools, Ballakermeen High School, a mixed 11–18 1200 pupil comprehensive, was faced with the problems off devising and developing a technology curriculum for Key Stage 3. This article describes the philosophy that was adopted towards technology teaching and outlines one Year 7 scheme of work that has a major electronics content.
