The fatty acids from the galactolipids, expressed in moles, were shown by gas‐liquid chromatography to consist of 95.8% linolenic, 1.9% linoleic and 2.3% palmitic acid. Oleic, stearic and palmitoleic acids were not detected. No indication was obtained of the presence of triglycerides in the acetone‐s
