摘要:

The transformation of the second-order moment equation in turbulence under a change of frame is examined. The proper transformation of the apparent body force is included. It is shown that the second-order closure is consistent with the principle of material frame-indifference of continuum mechanics. The implications on second-order modeling are discussed.
