摘要:
Algal-clay flocculation was induced by adding bentonite clay to a tank of water containing algae. Gizzard shad placed in the tank collected 24 times as much food material as in a tank where flocculation was not induced. Algal-clay flocculation is a potentially important mechanikm directly linking smaller primary producers and filter feeding fish.
