摘要:

Pseudaucella marshalli, the index species of Ururoan Stage (Pliensbachian-Toarcian), is recorded for the first time from Canterbury Suite (≡ Torlesse Supergroup) rocks of the South Island. Its discovery is further evidence against the assumption that fossil zones characteristic of Murihiku Supergroup are absent from Canterbury Suite.
