Gravitational Field-Flow Fractionation (GFFF) is a sub-technique of FFF which combines the earth gravitational force with the carrier liquid flow in a horizontal, ribbon-like channel which is well suited for the separation and characterization of monodisperse or polydisperse colloidal materials and macro-molecules.
