摘要:

AbstractA high frequency oscillator producing a short wave of about 20–30 m in wavelength was used for obtaining the emission spectrum of benzene vapor. The emission spectrum of benzene at 2500–3000Å was analyzed. A comparison was made between our results and those of Austin and Black which were obtained with a Tesla discharge. The vibrational structure was found to be in agreement with the selection rules for a forbidden electronic transition (1B2u→1A1g(1Γ
