摘要:

The problem of structural identifiability in compartmental models is examined and illustrated with a three-compartment model used by Jennrich and Bright [4] and Wiggins [13] to describe the passage ofsulfate through the blood of a baboon. Attention is drawn to the need to investigate stochastic models appropriate to the passage of radioactive tracers through biological compartment system.
