What do you know about AIDS? How do you react to the AIDS victim admitted to critical care? By recognizing and understanding the unique aspects of this devastating illness and common reactions to it, the critical care nurse can stregthen personal coping mechanisms and, thus, assist the AIDS patient in a time of crisis.
