SummaryIn the course of epidemic influenza, three patients developed severe staphylococcal pneumopathy. In the absence of clinical responsiveness to major bactericidal therapy (either Oxacillin or Cephalotin), the subsequent use of intravenous Tetracyclin was followed by outstanding clinical success. Reasons and hypotheses which have guided this therapeutic sequence are discussed.
