AbstractThe mannan ofCandida guilliermondiiwas acetolyzed and the seperation by gel chromatography gave five neutral fragments with the characteristic nuclear magnetic resonance spectra, mannose, mannobiose, mannotriose, mannotetraose, and mannopentaose. All oligosaccharide fragments were composed of mannose in α‐linkage.
