Calamoecia lucasiwas found withBoeckella propinquain the Kaihoka Lakes, Nelson, andBoeckella hamatawithBoeckella triarticulatain Lake Elterwater, Marlborough. These are the first records ofC. lucasiin the South Island, New Zealand, and ofB. hamataco‐occurring withB. triarticulata.
