Embriology ofCODIAEUM VARIEGATUM(L.) Blume var.PICTUM(Lodd.) Müll. —The development of the female gametophyte has been studied inCodiaeum variegatumvar. pictum.The gametophyte has been found to be monosporic, five-nucleate, of theGarciniatype, and not four-nucleate, of theCodiaeumtype, as established byArnoldi.
